Everyone from the jocks, to bad kids, to the cheerleaders, and to the perfect kids were included in the Hate List. They joined together in writing the Hate List. Nick and Valery found common ground by their hate towards Algebra. ![]() But he honestly did not care what others said about him. He was from a low income household, with ratty and too-big clothes. He had bad clothes and dirty hair. He was bullied because of his lifestyle. The book states that Nick moved to Garvin during freshman year. Nick was constantly bullied in Hate List.
